KRUN KNV 10 switchgear for outdoor usage


Designation

KNV-10 switchgears for outdoor usage are designed as 6 or 10 kV distributing devices and can be used as distributing devices in transformer stations and substations, including complex, modular substations 35/6-10, 110/6-10, 110/35/6-10 kV.

Special features

  •  Division switchgear into panels: relay panel, breaker panel, busbar panel and liner bus panel;
  •  Bottom placement of busbar;
  •  Ground placement of high voltage breaker;
  •  Several types of interlocks for protection from wrong operation during maintenance and repair;

Design

KRUN KNV-10 consists of high voltage panel, installed on rigid metal base and control passage covered with protective metal cover. Main types of switchgears: with high voltage breakers, plug connection, voltage transformer, power fuses, power transformers, static capacitors, vacuum breaker, combined (with voltage transformers and discharger);

To protect maintenance stuff the KRUN KNV-10 switchgear has special features, such as:

  •  Current conducting parts of main circuit which can be under potential after moving pullout element into repair position are closed automatically by specially designed shutters;
  •  there are warning message or warning sign according to GOST 12.4.026;
  •  The shell of pullout element has two constant electrical contacts with switchgear shell in working state, repair state and all position in between.

There are several mechanical and electrical interlocks in switchgear:

  •  an interlock that protect from moving pullout element from working position to control position and from control position to working position if switch installed on pullout element is turned on.
  •  an interlock that prevent turning on the switch installed on pullout element if pullout element is placed between two position;
  •  an interlock that prevent moving pullout element from control position to working position if grounding blades are turned on;
  •  an interlock that prevent from turning on grounding disconnector while pullout element is in working position;
  •  an interlock that prevent moving pullout element while automatic feeder breaker is turned on;
  •  an interlock that prevent from moving pullout element of section breaker in section panel if pullout element of section panel of adjacent switchgear is in working position.
