Soft start of high electric submersible pumps UPPVE1 PN

Soft start of high electric submersible pumps UPPVE1 PN designed for soft, non-impact starting motors of submersible pumps in manual and automatic modes, with the specific management functions and protection systems.

Soft start of the motor is achieved by forming a preset tempo of the motor voltage buildup from zero to the rated value by following method: thyristor control phases of the soft starter UPPVE1.

    UPPVE1 PN provides the following control functions:

    • Adjustable trip delay separately for each protection (except protection against the low insulation resistance);
    • adjustable delay of activation protection immediately after start-up for each protection (except protection against the low insulation resistance);
    • adjustable delay of autoreclosure separately after each trip protection (except protection against the low insulation resistance and turbine rotation);
    • can choose a mode with automatic reclosure or automatic reclosure-locked after each trip separately protection (except protection against the low insulation resistance and turbine rotation);
    • choice to activate and deactivate protections separately for each protection;
    • blocking automatic reclosure after stopping by the protection against the underload at exceeding of the specified number of starts in specified time;
    • blocking automatic reclosure after stopping by the protection against the overload at exceeding of the specified number of restarts in specified time;
    • blocking automatic reclosure after stopping by other protections ( except protections against underload and overload) at exceeding of the specified number of restarts in specified time;
    • receipt and processing of the current value of the insulation of "submersible cable-submersible motors";
